Art to Convey Perception and Experience
I started studying art and art education at Temple University, gaining experience in vast types of 2D, 3D materials and applications. I've grown as an artist with interests of how art can shape, and identify my own experiences and ideas about my environment and the community within it. It has become my outlet to process my own thoughts and experiences, creating something that visually symbolizes who I am, was, and will be.
I choose art education for few, but vast reasons that define my own ethics and moral reasoning. I simply wish to share the process of art making to students who require a space to explore and identify themselves. Schooling is the primary education and experience where students will explore what society will be when they are older. I desire to teach them voice. To empower their own ideas in creating something they are proud of. I desire to teach them the power of community and connection. Creating, and sharing art creates deeper relationships, and connects peers through their voice, and visual dialogue.
